A LEADER IN ENGAGING DIVERSE AUDIENCES IN THE OUTDOORS

We actively support hundreds of grassroots organizations that help cultivate people from all walks of life to engage with outdoor activities. Below are just a few of our sentimental favorites:

Breaking Down Barriers

How do you introduce city kids to nature? Provide them with access and a helping hand. We proudly launched the Outdoor Adventurers youth program across 13 U.S. cities including Atlanta, Houston and Chicago in partnership with the National Wildlife Federation and YMCA. Thousands of kids ages 6 – 12 get the chance to participate in outdoor recreation opportunities they might not have the chance to experience such as fishing, hiking, wildlife observation, kayaking, archery, exploration, and more.

INVESTING IN INCLUSION

We proudly sponsor the first fishing program at a historically Black college or university. In addition to a fishing boat and equipment, our pro staff coach members of Florida A&M University’s fishing club.

VAMOS A PESCAR

Founded by Johnny Morris with the late President George H.W. Bush, Vamos a Pescar focuses on bringing conservation education and boating experiences to Hispanic families in key metro areas.

FISHING DREAMS FOR DISABLED YOUTH

We create unforgettable fishing experiences for hundreds of disabled children by donating adaptive rods and reels, tackle boxes and apparel and guidance from our fishing pros.

CHANGING LIVES ONE CAMPER AT A TIME

Every summer, Kids Across America gives at-risk children from some of the most impoverished zip codes in America an opportunity to immerse themselves in the outdoors. Since its inception in 1978, the camp has hosted more than 140,000 campers and Bass Pro Shops have supported them every step of the way.

ENCOURAGING GIRLS TO TAKE AIM

Shoot Like a Girl empowers women to participate in the outdoors. By hosting a traveling interactive experience in our retail stores, we empower nearly 20,000 women and girls each year to try their hand at archery and shooting sports in a safe, positive and fun environment.

CAMP BARNABAS

We donate tens of thousands of dollars of gear every year to Camp Barnabas, which offers camping experiences to people with special needs and chronic illnesses. We also host campers for an inspirational overnight experience at Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium each year.

FOSTERING DIVERSITY IN OUR TEAM

We view our team as extended family. We’re proud to recruit, develop and champion diverse team members at all levels of our company, from entry-level Outfitters to our senior leadership team to our sponsored pro team members. In addition to fostering a sense of inclusion, we provide training and development programs and strong career growth opportunities.

everyone has a voice

Inclusion means there's a spot at the table for everybody, and we cultivate an enterprising spirit in our team members and throughout our company.  A few years back, a young man in one of our boat plants suggested we manufacture our own kayaks, which were becoming a popular seller in our stores.  Today, we make more kayaks than anyone in America.
